The breakfast wine of the Barossa, pairing perfectly with Barossa-smoked Bacon and poached free range eggs – showing vibrant blackberry and black cherries, with hints of chocolate, white pepper and liquorice.
A mouth watering, lively mouse highlights notes of blackberry and raspberry, with the fruit sweetness balanced well by subtle white pepper spices and the presence of freshening natural acid.
This wine pays special tribute to Roma Gertrude Wuttke – forever known as the gentle and warm hearted lady of Seppeltsfield. Gert started and ended her working career at Seppeltsfield and even through to her 90s, was regularly seen in cellar door sharing her passion for the estate with visitors. Having had a soft spot for a glass of Sparkling, we found it fitting to name this fresh and lively bubbly after her.
