Graves is an appellation of Bordeaux in southern Médoc, south of the city of Bordeaux. Located on one of the best gravelly plateaus of the appellation, Château Des Gravières covers 7.8 hectares in the municipality of Portets. This red wine has received several awards for past vintages, and the 2005 is cited and distinguished by a star in the Guide Hachette 2009.
