Loup Bleu was bought a few years ago by Marc Dubois and his wife as a place to focus on their dream lifestyle. They have turned the estate organic and are aiming to become biodynamic in time. The vineyards sit on clay and limestone under the slopes of Saint Victoire in the village of Puyloubier.
This is a blend of mostly Grenache with Carignan, Rolle, and a little Syrah and Clairettte too, produced in stainless steel tanks. It is a classic wine, but with the extra intrigue that natural yeast bring to a wine.
