Beautiful Gamay that has been aging in bottle for over two years. This was made with 100% whole bunches, aged in steel tanks for one year and bottled with zero additions. This is a very unique combination of 80+ year old vines and sandstone soils which are very rare in this region. This single-vineyard wine has not been made since. Very light, bright fruit profile, very elegant and precise, and a stunning finish. These won’t be around for long.
Made by Peter Gierszewki, a first generation Burgundian of Polish parents who started this small 4.5 ha estate in 2009 with a view to push the limits of natural farming in his parcels, an ethos he also brings into the cellar. Beautiful naturally made Burgundy wines but with a very strong sense of belonging.
