GlenDronach is located in the Forgue valley, near Huntly, Aberdeenshire and is named after the Dronac burn, the source of all their water. Matured in Oloroso sherry casks the GlenDronach 18 year old Allardice is a tremendously complex single malt, it is non chill filtered and shows it’s natural colour. GlenDronach gained a lot of fans worldwide when Macallan moved away from sherry casks and age statements. That has since changed for them, however GlenDronach continues it’s rise in popularity, producing consistently exceptional aged malts under the watchful eye of master distiller Rachel Barrie.
Rich and dark, it has remarkable flavours of stewed fruits and all-spice married together with classical aged Oloroso.
