Kingston Black is made from the single apple variety of the same name, the apple commonly considered the literal king of the crop.
Spontaneous fermentation happened in an ex Mersault barrel for 6 months and the cider was bottled pét-nat in March this year. The sparkle is subtle but does plenty to lift the tropical citrus, apricot and peach. With a tarte tatin bite and soft, ripe tannins the well-integrated oak lends the cider a hint of spice and vanilla.
