Pressure Drop – Street Porter

Porter is a classic London beer style with a long and colourful history. It originated in the city around 300 years ago and while there are conflicting accounts of the exact origins of Porter, it’s clear the beer has been enjoyed by hard-working Londoners for centuries.

Tasting Notes

Pours a pitch black colour with a minimal white head. Aroma of strong rich roastiness, some burnt biscuit and heavy licorice notes. Rich flavour of roastiness, espresso, biscuit, some leathery notes and milk chocolate. Fair amount of bitterness. Light bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Finishes nice and roasty with some burnt crisp meatiness. Quite heavy on the roastiness, yet so low on ABV.
