A sequel to last year’s AD/ Sauternes Cask Release, which went down a storm, this year’s edition sees us utilising the combination of our peated distillate finished in Sauternes barriques for the first time ever. A vatting of just under 30 casks from 2018, all of which started life in bourbon casks and have been finished in Sauternes casks, we have once again bottled this at 50% ABV. This time round you can expect that luscious, golden, mouth-filling texture, amped up by the cask types, but grounded in earthy, coastal peat. A dram to savour as the summer draws to a close. The out-turn is around 8,460 bottles for the world
