Description
It can be a little rarer to see Benrinnes bottled as a Single Malt, and especially one at such a wallet friendly price.
Another great bottling from Hugh, Leon and Rupert at James Eadie Independent Whisky Bottlers.
Aged in 1st fill bourbon and refill hogshead casks and bottled after 9 years by James Eadie.
James Eadie’s Single Malts come from some of Scotland’s famous and less well-known distilleries. They select only the best casks for bottling, and clearly state their age.
Inspired by The Eagle Inn, Loughborough, acquired by James Eadie 16th January 1890

Tasting notes:
Nose: Fresh young white grapes, stewed apples, vanilla cream, digestive biscuits.
Taste: Initially like the nose, with fresh fruit and vanilla cream prominent, before the trademark oily, meaty notes of the spirit emerge, along with stewed rhubarb and green apple.
Finish: Nice long finish, ending on apple, honey, woodspice and a hint of mint.
