Description
This single malt was distilled at the Blair Athol Distillery, located in Pitlochry, in 2011. It was matured for many years in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead and then re-racked into a Marsala cask, a fortified wine produced on the island of Sicily. The resulting whisky carries notes of ripe red fruits, cherry, menthol, wine gums, tamarind pulp and peppery oak.
