Description
A bright, elegant Glencadam drawn from a single bourbon barrel.
Part two of a cask we first released as part of our inaugural Outturn. Now matured to 14 years, it shows even more depth and clarity of character.
Matured entirely in ex-bourbon, this whisky leans into Glencadam’s classic orchard fruit character, with a little extra depth from time in oak.
The nose opens with fresh pear, followed by honeysuckle and white grape. Beneath these, hints of vanilla cream, toasted oats and a touch of almond emerge. Gentle honeycomb and soft spice build with time in the glass.
The palate is clean and textured. Apple skin, lemon sponge and barley sugar meet soft oak, ginger and white pepper. Layers of orchard fruit and vanilla round out into a long, gently drying finish.
Bright, crisp and full of charm.
