THE DISTILLERIES OF GREAT BRITAIN & IRELAND
On October 14th, 1922, the first in a ‘series of illustrated articles of the Distilleries of Scotland, Ireland and England’ was published. Over the next seven years, a total of 124 distilleries, with more than 640 photographs, were profiled. This monumental series was forgotten about for 100 years, until James Eadie Ltd published The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland as a special centenary first edition of 1,000 copies.
James Eadie have launched a special range of whiskies commemorating this book.
Using the original photographs from 100 years ago, stylised by the illustrator Greg Coulton, James Eadie select whiskies that are best suited for bottling at just over 52%. All releases are bottled at natural colour and unchillfiltered.
