Description
This unique single malt scotch whisky, distilled at Caol Ila Distillery in 2012, was matured first in refill Sherry butt then ‘finished’ in a cask which previously held Pineau des Charentes, a highly revered ancient fortified wine of the Cognac region in western France.
The resulting whisky carries notes of smouldering beach bonfires, toasted almonds, gingerbread, charred citrus peel and dark toffee.
