The Brut Réserve NV is a beautiful mix of complex pastry aromas, with an opulent combination of ripe apricot, mango, dried fruits, and almond. The palate is smooth, developing into ripe fleshy apricot, plum and delicate toast. There is a perfect balance of freshness and generosity.
A percentage of the base wines are fermented in oak which adds depth and texture to the finished wine. Around 45% of reserve wine is used to make up the base wine here and these wines are aged for an average of 10 years. The finished wine is then aged for at least 40 months before release, far longer than the industry standard of 15 months.
