Description
The first release from our barrel aging project, we took a tank of malty-sweet Wee Heavy and split it across three whisky barrels; Speyside, Highland and Islay. They’ve all taken the character of the barrels in a very different way – a rich figgy dried fruit from the Speyside, pipe-smoke and cinnamon spice in the Islay and a tart, medicinal almost Oud Bruin-like note on the Highland.
