Lascaux Cavalier Rouge is a bright with a nose of fresh red fruits, raspberry, plum and cranberry. Lively mouthfeel, with balance, roundness and gentle minerality. Lascaux Cavalier Rouge is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from organically grown grapes.
We’re not claiming this is a small producer but they are family owned and the vinyards have been fully converted to organic farming. Now in their 3rd generation the estate sat at 20 hectares in 1984 and now covers almost 85 hectares of vines surrounded by 300 hectares of scrubland.
