A big wine from the ancestral home of Malbec, Cahors (South-West France). In this case it’s blended with Merlot. It’s showing some meatiness, plenty of black fruits (blackcurrant) and present but friendly tannins which might suggest you a steak or dark chocolate pairing.
Despite been 10 years old this wine just entered its drinking age after 3 years ageing in barrels and 4 years in cement tank.
Minimal intervention winemaking.
