A caramel malt profile is present and the beer retains a perceived bitterness from the hops added in the latter stages. The initial taste brings an earthy and herbaceous flavour more akin to West Coast and traditional British IPAs. The bitterness then rounds off and the Lemondrop lifts the palate with bright lemons and poppy pear drops, leaving you with sherbet and dried apricot.
A hop forward Session Neipa, which still keeps the malt profile in mind. Much like The Southside Pale. But hazier and holds a smooth mouthfeel beloved by fans of the style.
