Red Roy melds some of our favourite darker styles: wee heavy, ruby mild and Flanders red ale. Deep ruby red and almost claret in colour. Tart jammy malty sweets in aroma and taste. Very few highly kilned malts were added and a small first wort hop addition allows for very little bitterness, and a smooth chocolatey texture. Then a small Azacca dry hop and minimal addition of lactobacillus brings a fresh citrus, tropical and tart-sweet flavour. Black IPA fans and even oatmeal stout drinkers would be interested too!
