Description
From the vineyard of “Perelles le Haut” in Mâcon La Roche-Vineuse, a southerly facing, softly sloping site of white Bathonian limestone marl. These vines of Aligote are over 80 years old, giving very small yields of beautiful orange-tinged berries. Hand harvested, foot crushed and slowly basket-pressed to old barrels for a native fermentation. Left on full lies for six months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
