Adobe Gewurztraminer is a wonderfully vibrant Gewurz with characteristic rose petal, lychee & spice with fresh citrus.
Produced from the leading biodynamic/organic vineyards, Adobe Gewurztraminer is an organic wine. Emiliana is one of the world’s most important producers of organic & biodynamic wines & the largest in South America.
The nose offers floral aromas of jasmine, lychee & honey notes. The floral notes reappear on the palate, along with apricot & mandarin orange. Medium bodied with good concentration of fruit flavour & still refreshing.
The grapes are from the Rapel Valley which lies with the Pacific Ocean to the West, to the east the Andes Mountains, and to the south the province of Colchagua. The climatic characteristics of this valley include frost-free springs and warm summers that allow the grapes to ripen well. The grapes were hand-picked & fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness.
Great with spicy food – Thai curry’s or sushi.
