Description
Something a little different, this 10-year-old spent its first 9 years in Bourbon Barrels before being finished for 12 months in Tokaji barriques. This is our first experiment using barriques that had previously been used for the sweet and sophisticated wines of the Hungarian region of Toka and we are delighted with the outcome, achieving a good balance of distillery character with Tokaji sweetness and acidity. This excites the senses with freshly toasted granola served with ripe apricots and drizzled with syrup.
