Description

A Blaufrankish which really shows off its sense of place. It’s seering minerality comes from the calcarous and schist soils of Leithaberg, lending a saline and earthy complexity to the bright cherry fruit. The warm Pannonian cliamate ensures ripeness whilst retaining wonderful freshness. A perfect pairing for delicately spiced oriental cuisine.

Viticulture is biodynamic. Heinrich believe that their soil is the foundation for healthy vines and that a biologically diverse environment and a thriving ecosystem is key to this. They have planted shrubs, bushes and fruit trees in the vineyards to provide a habitat for beneficial fauna. Vineyards are worked by hand.
