A characterful English Pinot Gris with lots of lovely ripe fruits and a nice, slightly waxy texture!
The fruit for this wine was sourced from two plots in Suffolk and Essex. The fruit was hand harvested and 10% of the wine was aged in barrel to help build weight, body and texture. A classic aperitif wine with a light aromatic nose of pear, quince, green apple, lime and under ripe nectarine notes. On the palate it is dry, fruity and vibrant, with orchard fruits such as pear, apple and white peach.  There are delicate spice notes such as white pepper balanced with a creaminess and roundness on the palate that creates a long finish.
