Description
Primary fermented with a blend of Brettanomyces strains, and brewed with local Scottish barley, wheat and oats. Honeybucket was blended from two different batches of beer which had an average age of around 4 months, to which we added fresh elderflower blossom foraged from the local vicinity of the brewery. In this years (2023) version of Honeybucket we conditioned the base beer with raw heather honey harvested from apiaries on the Falkland Estate, located about 27 miles from the brewery. The rich, deep character of the heather honey combines with bright elderflower aromatics and character from the mixed culture.
