Description
The Gutturnio Superiore “Il Valandrea” from the Poggiarello winery is part of a new line called “I volti” (the faces); according to the winery, some wines remain imprinted in the memory, like a face: wines that have a personality equal to the personality of a person and, when drinking them, you can remember atmospheres, looks and smiles.
This wine is made from 55% Barbera and 45% Bonarda. Its has a deep, ruby-red colour, with fleshy dark plum notes with a deeper flavours of liquorice. Maturation in oak provides integrated sweet spice, and there’s leather and dried fruits on the finish.
