Description
Croze-Hermitage Tenay is fresh, with a lovely acidity, on the palate, the wine is elegant yet structured, bloody and deep. This plot is located on granite and galets roulé (gravel), hence, freshness and volume. Very steep plot gobelet pruned with wooden stakes.
Decanting this wine will likely allow it to show best.
A rising star of the Northern Rhône, Jean-Baptiste returned to St Joseph after working in New Zealand, Australia, California, Bordeaux and Burgundy. He has sought out small high altitude parcels that express balance and elegance. Quantities of each cuvée are often tiny as Jean Baptise seeks to focus on single parcel expressions.
