Description
This is aromatic white Rioja with very well integrated oak. Think grapefruit, tropical fruit, vanilla, and pepper, and a lively, refreshing acidity. These fruits mingle on the palate with the oak influence to give a vanilla ccreaminess, kind of feel which is kept very much in check by great acidity and mouthwatering minerality. By all means taste test this with sushi, as it was intended, but dont be afraid to branch out as this would make a killer accompaniment to a whole host of boldly flavoured dishes.
