Description
H-Hero Rosso is a Merlot by La Cantina Pizzolato, who impressively for the Veneto, works only with organic grapes. Distinctly fruity on the nose showing blackcurrant and attractive floral notes. Dry, fruity and full-bodied, with a firm tannic structure and delicate nuance of pepper.
Settimo Pizzolato is the latest of five generations of Pizzolati who have made wine here. The estate has been organic since 1991 but about 10 years ago energetic Settimo pushed through a quantum leap upwards in quality.
At Cantina Pizzolato farming is entirely Organic and wines are made in absence of sulfite additions.
