Description
A light fruity red with elegant and refined structure. Imagine raspberry, red cherries paired with violet flowers. Round, smooth and dangerously drinkable.
A beautiful example of Grolleau from Anjou in the Loire Valley, from 45-70 year old vines grown over compact clay and schist soil.
Hand harvest, direct pressing, spontaneous fermentation. The two varieties are prepared separately by Maité and Warren, soaking them in whole bunches in concrete tanks for 14 days on their skins, then aging the wine for 8 months before bottling. Only 10 mg/l of sulfur is added to the wine before bottling.
Farming is Organic.
This wine is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.
