A complex, rich, medium dry perry, expressive of the varieties used and the orchard from which it came. It’s a serious drink from a significant orchard. It’s made mainly with Red Pear (70%), with Butt and Blakeney Red equally distributed at 12.5% each, then the rest is Oldfield and cryo extracted Newton Wonder and Michelin. They all come from a single orchard of old trees dating back to the 18th century.
This perry is creamy, soft, spicy, savoury and herbal, with notes of green and yellow fruit, such as lime and melon. It evolves with each sip, only the gentle acid and fine tannins remain constant.
