Description
Bikote is all about balance and experimentation. The idea started with a simple question: what if we blend a little Graciano or Mazuelo (Cariñena) into Garnacha to brighten things up in warmer years? The result is a series of one-off wines — not made every vintage, and never exactly the same twice.
This edition was crafted gently: the grapes were destemmed and left to ferment slowly with native yeasts, minimal sulfur, and nothing fancy in the way of filtering or fining. The Garnacha spent 12 months relaxing in barrel, while the Graciano kept things fresh in stainless steel.
The wine itself? Juicy and vibrant, with ripe black fruit, a hint of earth and graphite, silky texture, and fine, grainy tannins. Medium to full-bodied, it finishes lively and delicious — the kind of bottle that feels both serious and playful at once.
