Description
This is the first ever age-statement bottling from Lochlea. This is a 5 year old single malt from 5 hand-selected casks, 2 of which are from their very first week of filling in August 2018! It is their oldest whisky released to date.
Cask Types: Bourbon and Sherry.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Baked pineapple, brown sugar, hazelnuts, sourdough bread
Palate: Lemon zest, candied pear crumble, orange peel
Finish: Caramel with hints of black pepper, rose petals and leather
50% / 70cl
No colouring, non-chill filtered.
Launch Date: 25th January to celebrate Burns Night!
They have 2000 bottles of this whisky available globally across 25 countries, for this reason it is limited to 1 bottle per household.
