A new limited seasonal release from Lochlea.
‘Harvest’ is made up of Single Malt aged in Port Casks, STR & First Fill Bourbon Casks from Makers Mark. This packs a fruity punch in the glass, with notes of dates, marmalade & rich red grapes on the nose. The rich, peppery influence of the STR casks then kicks in on the palate, before developing into a beautiful soft creaminess on the finish.
This is the 2nd Harvest release from Lochlea, last years was fantastic so we are really excited about this older version.
Lochlea is exactly the kind of producer & maker we love to champion. It is an independent, family owned farm & distillery based in the heart of Ayrshire, here in Scotland.
They have been quietly distilling & maturing single malt Scotch whisky using barley that they grow & harvest on the farm.
