From an undisclosed distillery on Islay, aged in American oak casks. Waves of peat smoke and nutty sweet vanilla.
First fIll bourbon barrel from the Sound of Islay. 18-20ppm. 6-8 years old but with a solera approach that includes some whiskies up to 15 years old. Sea salt, wood smoke, very grassy, copper and ashy peat smoke. Great intro to Islay.
