Description

A single cask distilled and filled at Mannochmore Distillery in 2008, spending the last 6 months of its maturation in a barrel which previously held the deliciously citrusy, sultana-sweet and highly prized Hungarian Desert Wine – Tokaji Aszu – considered the oldest Sweet Wine in the world.

The original Pintail, named after the dabbling duck with its distinctive pointed tail feathers, was first bottled and distributed by Perth-based wines and spirits merchant Matthew Gloag & Sons, in 1931.

The label has been resurrected in all it’s original glory by The Whisky Cellar, including the ‘duck in flight’ icon for the bottling of a variety of premium single cask Whiskies, Brandies and Rums.

289 bottles released.
