Description
This 2008 vintage Mannochmore single malt whisky was treated to a single oloroso sherry cask finish. After 14 years, a total of 297 bottles were filled at 55.3% ABV without chill-filtration or additional colouring.
This has big oloroso characer on the nose. Nutty, with dried orchard fruit, off-set against Mannochmore’s pleasing estery note, which with a drop of water turns to juicy pear and fragrant white flower. On the palate it is light on its feet with a soft sweetness up front developing into spiced baked apple.
