Description
Here we have a ‘Piquette’ style drink made from fruit from Offbeat Wines. Dan and Al from importer Wines Under The Bonnet decided to make it as an experiment in 2022 as the fruit was so ripe there was a huge amount of potential alcohol in the fruit. Triomphe and Bacchus from Hampshire soaked for around 3 days giving about 4.5 % abv. The pair then decided to re ferment it with local honey, supplied by a guy called Paul Honey who was 2 towns away and kept hives in the New Forest. Juicy, crunchy, and coming in at a gluggable 5%.
