A crisp, dry lager made using smoked malts and then barrel aged in Islay whisky barrels to combine the best of Scottish and German brewing traditions. We left this beer in barrels just long enough to add a signature hint of Islay without overwhelming the delicate base. Caol Ila barrels add to delicious smoky malt flavours, with hints of citrus, and delicate salt notes. It comes in pints.
