Description
The bold and assertive blended malt from Pintail, a selection of whiskies chosen for richness and balance before being filled and matured for 10 years in a single first fill European Oak Sherry Butt. Bottles at 57.1% without chill-filtration for a full mouthfeel and flavour.
The original Pintail, named after the dabbling duck with its distinctive pointed tail feathers, was first bottled and distributed by Perth-based wines and spirits merchant Matthew Gloag & Sons, in 1931.
The label has been resurrected in all it’s original glory by The Whisky Cellar, including the ‘duck in flight’ icon for the bottling of a variety of premium single cask Whiskies, Brandies and Rums.
