Made from 60% Nero d’Avola, of which 15% is lightly dried on the vines, using the Appassimento Method, coupled with 40% Frappato. This is the only DOCG in Sicily, and Santa Tresa was one of the very first to produce this wine.
Big, juicy, ripe red fruit with herbal notes and some dried fig. Medium to Full bodied with silky tannins.
