Beaujolais Village from Sylvere Trichard. Made on his family’s 4 hectares of biodynamically-farmed Gamay vines situated in Blacé, a small village in Beaujolais.
A 20 day whole-bunch maceration with regular pump overs, wanting more distinct between the reds in 2021, the Villages has a little more structure, and peppery fruit. Parcel planted over solid granite.
From a plot on clay and decomposed granite, a 15 day carbonic maceration.
