A limited release Teaninich Single Malt selected by us here at Cork & Cask and bottled by our friends over at Thompson Bros.
This is a one off bottling of a single quarter cask of Teaninich whisky, finished for 7 months in First Fill Oloroso Sherry cask.
Nose of warm baked Jamaican ginger cake, raisin, apricot and light treacle/brown sugar. The palate has fine oak tannin, that slightly dry tannin note balanced with more dried fruit, fig raisin, dark chocolate and molasses.
It’s been exactly 9 months since we launched our first single cask at our annual Annual Wine Fair on 13th November 2021. The first release Glenrothes was such a hit that we sold out in a few weeks, we were blown away by the response, testament to the quality of whisky Thompson Bros are releasing, and to our loyal following of whisky customers.
