Description
A classic Godello, which is an intensely aromatic dry white wine with aromas of bay leaf, almond & white flowers. The palate has flavours of ripe stone fruit, giving a rounded & full mouthfeel. A refreshing minerality lifts the wine, leaving a lingering finish that stays with you long after you take a sip.
An Atlantic wine with continental influence. Mature and fresh, expressive and serious, Gaba do Xil shows the virtues of the Godello grape and the singularity of soils evolved on slates. The vineyards are 400-500 meters above sea level and planted on clay and slate soils.
Fermented with native yeasts and matured for 4 months on its lees in stainless steel tanks for body and primary fruit preservation.
