Description
Nose: Alpen, cooking apples, grape must, fresh barley, freshly baked sourdough, grist, Robinson’s barley water, unripe pears, soaked oats, vanilla, salt-baked turnip, fresh hay.
Palate: More Alpen (extra Raisins), barley water, sugared almonds, vanilla buttercream, dried pine, custard (British) & fresh wort.
Finish: Quite sweet; barley water (wort), red grapes & cumin. Drinks very well at 50%ABV
Distilled in 2008 at Tomatin distillery, bottled at 14 Years Old by Thompson Bros of Dornoch.
