Description
Seaman Gose (alcohol content 3,9%) is a light, top fermented beer brewed with primarily wheat malt. Our recipe was based on the old German “gose” beer style which is actually getting more popular nowadays for its freshness and drinkability. So we took wheat and pilsner malt and spiced it with some salt and coriander – very typical for gose style beer. We also added a little bit of Sladek hops and chose a special kind of yeast with low lactic acid production. All of that makes Seaman Gose a very refreshing, light beer with a unique salty and lightly sour taste with a hint of herbs. The bitterness of the hops is almost imperceptible with medium sharpness. Seaman Gose has a typical light straw colour.
