Description
The second iteration of our Viking-era inspired brew, one of our fastest selling beers in 2022. Until the 1800’s, Scotland persisted with the use of native herbs rather than hops in its brewing. The malty-sweet profile of this beer is joined by a hint of eucalyptus and cedar, derived from one such native herb, lost in brewing history: Myrica Gale, also known as bog myrtle. The vikings are known to have brewed with the same ingredient. A nod towards history, ancestry and flavour exploration. Sustainably foraged with Atholl Estates. Thanks to Julia.
