Bone dry, tannic single orchard cider. In 2021, with slightly smaller crops in our own orchards we set to exploring some interesting traditional orchards for additional fruit. Cooth orchard is certainly a curiosity – an old farm orchard which outlives the farmhouse and buildings which were lost in a fire last century. The blend is built around Stable Jersey and is high in tannin , very moorish and delicious. Worth experimenting with decanting. Drink with fatty foods like roast pork, braised mutton and extra mature Mongomery’s Cheddar
