Pale straw yellow with a green hue. A delicate & elegant organically farmed white wine made on the East coast of Italy from the native Verdicchio grape. It has fresh citrus & a delicious green herb flavour on the palate, along with notes of stone fruit there is a lovely bitter finish like chicory or radicchio leaving the finish very refreshing & the drinker wanting another sip! Perfect with scampi, seafood or asparagus risotto.
The Salmàgina vineyards extend for 42 hectares in the municipality of Staffolo, in Ancona, at around 500 metres above the sea level. On the opposite coast to Tuscany lies the less well known, but no less beautiful, region of Marche. This is where you will find the family run Zaccagnini winery, established by two brothers.
