Description
This Cotes du Rhone Villages weaves a blend of Syrah (90%) and Grenache (10%) into a boldly fruit-driven wine. Plush and medium bodied, with ripe bramble fruit, spice and plum. Smooth well integrated tannins hold the fruit flavours to a lovely long finish with plenty of depth and body. 
A small proportion of the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding depth and complexity. This is a classically, well balanced wine; bold and delicious without being heavy, it has all the depth, taste and flavour of a much higher priced wine. 
From winemaker Julien Dugas, and excellent gastronomic wine that pairs beautifully with game, beef stew or mushroom stroganoff.
